Uncovering the Future of Trends: Pinterest's 2025 Forecast

As we end 2024 with a bang, Pinterest is making predictions for 2025. This includes a dedicate page that talks about the upcoming year’s trends depending on users’ interest and engagement.

2025's Pinterest Predicts gives visual overviews of the latest and hottest trend forecasts. As per the platform, 80% of what it predicts does end up transforming into big hits later on. And we don’t see why this might be doing the same.

Every 20 predicted trends feature short explainers and data trends that hint at what could be a bigger shift. As seen in the example, app users will get app-themed messages that display the trends in demand. This way, you get a better grip on what it means on the platform.

We feel the overviews are always great and feature the most attractive visuals that underline all predicted trends. From castle core to fisherman esthetics, users are guided into thinking about how they can alter the target market reach by next year.

This year, Pinterest says it’s working on rolling out its own product activation that goes well with this trend note. It’s launching Pinterest Predicts next week to all on a first come first serve basis. As a result, some lucky users get the opportunity to test what’s trending in 2025 before all others.

This entails tooth gems and cheap trips to the mountain, not to mention hand-painted pianos. Clearly, there’s an abundance of trending treats for all to enjoy. As mentioned by the company, these predictions are usually spot in. Some might surprise users while others are designed to expand on current trends that made it big this year.

So is it worth a look? We certainly do think so. Getting the right trends in check can assist your business depending on what the target audience is in search of.
