Ken Wakui, the creator behind Tokyo Revengers, a manga featuring tough characters and sci-fi elements, is widely renowned. With over 70 million copies sold, his manga series has gained immense popularity. Now he is ready with another manga titled Negai no Astro.

The leaks from Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #19 on Thursday, April 4, 2024, spilled the beans that Ken Wakui, the brains behind Tokyo Revengers, is gearing up to kickstart his new manga series, Negai no Astro, in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #20. Brace yourselves because the first chapter is hitting the shelves on Monday, April 15, 2024!
Negai no Astro will debut its first chapter in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine Issue 20/2024 on Monday, April 15, 2024. Additionally, it will be showcased on the magazine’s cover page and receive a Lead Color Page inside.

Another fan speculated that the upcoming manga, Negai no Astro, might serve as a sequel to Tokyo Revengers. According to this theory, the story is anticipated to delve into the future of one of the timelines that didn’t quite pan out (ofc he is joking).
Yet, some fans are willing to give the new manga series a shot. They point out that Ken Wakui’s artwork in the final two arcs of Tokyo Revengers was exceptionally good. Thus, they’re hopeful that the new series could also showcase some stellar artwork from the manga creator.
