Three years after the Attack on Titan manga ended, and 15 years since it started, Hajime Isayama, the creator, is gearing up for a fresh manga project. This time, he’s teaming up with Yuki Kaji, who voiced Eren Yeager.

In honor of the voice actor’s two decades in the field, Kodansha unveiled a fresh project named “Soyogi Fractal.” Inspired by Kaji’s singing alter ego, Soyogi Soyogi, this upcoming spiHajinoff manga will be penned by the voice actor himself. Isayama will be keeping an eye on the story and manga drafts.

A new one-shot spin-off manga “Soyogi Fractal” by Hajime Isayama x Yuki Kaji has been announced.

Check out the new draft by Hajime Isayama giving us a sneak peek at how this upcoming one-shot will look. Just a reminder, Isayama is in charge of the story and will be overseeing it, not the artwork.

Right now, there’s an audition happening on the official website to find an artist for this project. From what we’ve seen in the preview pages, the story, penned by Kaji, will delve into the AI origins of his character and the controversies surrounding the software.

The project is currently designed to be a one-shot story named Soyogi Fractal, which is gearing up for its big debut this summer in both Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine and Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.
